Your Adventure

01

Cusco – Piskakucho (Km 82) – Huayllabamba

Your guide picks you up from your hotel for the transfer to Km 82, the starting point of the Classic Inca Trail. There you meet the Q’Inti trail team, including porters, camp assistants, and chef.

Around 11 am the trek begins with an easy walk along the Vilcanota River, with views of the snowcapped Veronica peak. After passing Patallacta archaeological site and enjoying lunch, the route continues uphill to the first campsite at Huayllabamba.

02

Huayllabamba – Pacaymayo

After breakfast, the trail reaches its most physically demanding section with a steep ascent of about three hours toward Warmiwañusca Pass, the highest point of the trek.

Once at 4,200 meters, the panoramic views reward the effort. From there the trail descends to lunch in Vizcachayoc and continues during the afternoon until reaching the campsite at Pacaymayo.

03

Pacaymayo – Wiñay Huayna

The day starts with another ascent, reaching approximately 3,900 meters above sea level. Along the way, you visit the archaeological sites of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca, then stop for lunch at Chaqquicocha.

In the afternoon, the route continues toward Phuya Patamarka and then descends through the cloud forest, surrounded by orchids and bromeliads, until arriving at Wiñay Huayna. The site is explored with your guide before dinner and overnight camp.

04

Wiñay Huayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After an early breakfast, the final hike leads through the cloud forest to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, where the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu appears.

The route descends into the archaeological site for a guided visit through the most important sectors of the citadel. After free time, the journey continues by bus to Aguas Calientes and then by train back to Cusco, followed by transfer to your hotel.
